Community Profile

This community is the alternative to basic_icontest on LiveJournal, in case the site becomes unavailable because of the War in Russia. This new community will only become active if the other one at LJ cannot be used, I won't post challenges and voting at both places, it would be ridiculous if the results were not the same! lol

About
Bases Icontest is an icon challenge community dedicated to all sorts of things, mostly stock images. I make 15-20 base icons of 100x100 for each challenges on a specific theme (animals, foods/drinks, objects, scenery, etc) that you can edit in any way you want. I have chosen the word 'Bases' instead of 'Basic' from the LJ site because it seems much more clear that way.

Rules
1. You must be a member of the community in order to participate.
2. Submit only new icons. They must fit icons standarts: 100x100 and no bigger than 60 kb.
3. Animations are allowed, and of course textures, brushes, text are all encouraged.
4. All the entries must remain anonymous until the end of the voting. You cannot post your icons anywhere else until winners are announced.
5. You are allowed to submit up to 4 icons.
6. Submit your icons in a host, with the HTML code and the URL.

1. Do not vote for yourself.
2. Do not ask your friends to vote for you.
